Yay! Otherwordly Discipline, a 15-Chapter Novel of 88,677 words has finished! It’s now fully complete at Bethany’s Woodshed for members! I’m extremely excited, since I (Korey Mae Johnson) wrote it… But I think ya’ll will actually like it. There are some really harsh spanking scenes in there, and one of my favorite characters I ever wrote is also in there–Moriarty Miles is a hoot to write (very aristocratic, pompous, and vain and HATES being the good guy, but he is nothing but a lump of sugar inside… Deep, deep inside), and the brooding, antisocial Ashcroft tugs at my heart strings… Although he does enjoy his dirty-talk during sex… A lot. He’s very straight-laced other times, but in the bedroom that man is wild… And a very firm disciplinarian that you do NOT want to piss off.

As far as anyone could tell, Charlotte was the last Byndian Witch in the universe. SPOILER–SEQUEL TO COME:
The ending might be a little shocking to you, but I’m already working on a sequel for it that’s going to be even hotter, but the sequel takes place over 10 YEARS past the end of this story. So, while you’re waiting for the fall of 2012, where the sequel will be published (early 2013 at the latest), think about what it’s like for Ashcroft at the end of that story and realize that he’s going to feel that way for 10 long years. But don’t worry, he’s got the super-sensitive (yeah, right!) Moriarty Miles to be there in his time of need… 
Think of this as a time for character-building, folks! Besides, as you know–some lessons are hard to learn, but that just makes them all the more worth the learning!

Bethany’s Woodshed and Blushing Publications would like you to take a stand against SOPA and PIPA. After the 18th, most of the senate has changed their positions, but we’re not out of hot water yet. Here’s what Bethany wrote on the WS:
No doubt, all of you have heard something about the online protests this week involving two bills now pending in the Senate. (SOPA – Stop Online Piracy Act and PIPA – Protect IP Act) While the original intent of these bills (to protect the movie, and to a lesser extent, the music industries) in practice most people believe that the far-reaching power that these bills would give the federal government would allow the governemnt unprecendented powers to censor the Internet.
In more than eleven years of business, I have posted on a political issue exactly three times: the first was when I asked for donations after Hurricane Katrina, the second was when I asked for donations after the tsunami in Southeast Asia in 2004.
I am now doing it again. These bills will give the government over-arching powers to censor what you see on the Internet. Any website (foreign or domestic) even accused of having illegally-posted content could theoretically be blocked by the government at the federal level.
